AN ORDINtLNCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
-kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $4,305.00 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving Fund in the City
Treasury for the payment of 85% of Estimate Number 1, for material
furnished and labor performed in the construction of paving improve-
ments prior to May 11 1930, under contract dated April 7, 1930.
Section 2. That a Temporar,T Note of the City of Salina, '�'ansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, Braid Temporary Note to be payable on or before
ninety (90) days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four
and one-half per cent (41%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

Salinas Kansas:
Section 1. That the slam of $4,305.00 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving,
Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of Estimate
Number 10 for material .furnished and labor performed in the
construction of paving improvements prior to May 1, 1930,
under contract dated April 7, 1930,
Section. 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of
Salina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before ninety (90) days from date, and
to draw interest at the rate of four and one-half per cent
(4-12%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
