AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $8,557.12 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from
the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of
85% of Estirate Number 49 for material furnished and labor per-
formed in the construction of Ash Street sewer repair, prior
to April lst, 1330.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before thirty days from date, and to draw interest
at the rate of four and one-half per cent per annum.
Secti^n 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, K ans as :
Section 1. That the sum of $8,557.12 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company

of 850 of Estimate Number 4, for material furnished and labor
performed in the construction of Ash Street sewer repair, prior
to April lst, 1930.
Section 2.

Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before thirty days
