3843 Annex Garden Home Addition'54 ORDINANCE NO. 3843 Published in the Salina Journal U 1930) AN ORDINANCE providing that certain platted and unplatted tracts of land which adjoin the present limits of the City of Salina Kansas be added to, taken into and made parts of the Cit -,,,r of Salina; extending the limits of said city to include said added land; defining the corporate limits of said city as extended; and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. '-hat Garden Home Addition a platted addition lying within the south one-half of the southeast quarter of Section 13, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the 6th P. M. in Saline Co,jnty, according to the recorded plat of said addition in the office of the Register of Deeds, Saline County, Kansas, which addition is so situated that all of the west boundary line thereof lies upon , or touches the -resent boundary line of the City of Salina as hereto- fore stablished, be and the same is hereby added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 2. That that certain tract of platted or unplatted land lying in. the north half of the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 14 south, Range 2 ,Test of the 6th P. M. in Saline Uounty, Kansas, and being a part of Lot 2 of Surveyors Plat No. 34, described by metes and bounds: "Commencing at the point of intersection of the west line of the northeast quarter of said Section 18, with the center line, ex- tended east of Stapler Avenue; thence south along the west line of said northeast quarter of Section 18, being also the west lire of said Lot 2 Surveyor's Plat No. 34, to the southwest corner of the north half of said northeast quarter of Section 18, being also the , south%,°gest corner of said Lot 2 Surveyor's Plat No. 34; thence east along the south line of the north half of said northeast quarter of Section 18, being also the south. line of said Lot 2, Surveyor's Plat No. 34, to the southeast corner of said Lot 2 Surveyor's Plat No. 34, as originally platted; thence north along the east line of said Lot 2 to the southeast corner of Mt. Barbara Park Addition; thence westerly following the south line of Mt. Barbara Park Addition to the southwest corner of Lot 1 Mt. Barbara Park Addition; thence north along the west line of Lot 1 Mt. Barbara Park Addition 122 feet, more or less, to the intersection of said line with the center line, extended east of Stapler Avenue; thence west along the center line of Stapler Avenue, extended, to the point of beginning; which tract does not exceed 20 acres in area, and which is so situated that all of the north and west boundary lines thereof lie upon or touch the present boundary line of said city as heretofore established, be and the same is hereby il[ added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina,Kansas." Section 3. That that certain tract of unplatted land, lying in the south half of the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 14 south, Range 2 west of the 6th P. M. in Saline County, Kansas, described by metes and bounds, as follows: "Commencing at the northwest corner of the south half of the northeast quarter of said Section 18; thence east 1320 feet along the north line of said south half of said quarter section, to the center of said quarter section; thence south 33 feet; thence west 1320 feet; thence north 33 feet to the point of beginning; which tract of land does not exceed 20 acres in area, andwhich is so situated that all of the west boundary line thereof lies ux:on or touches the present boundary line of the City of Salina as hereto- fore established, and all of the north boundary line thereof lies upon or touches the boundary line of the City of Salina as established by Section 2 of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas." Section 4. That that certain tract of unplatted land, lying in the south half of the n.rtheast quarter of Section 18, Township 14 south, Range 2 west of the 6th P. M. in Saline Uounty, Kansas, described by metes and bounds, as follows: "Commencing at a poiv-t on t e west line of the south half of said northeast quarter of Section 18, 33 feet south of the northwest corner of said south half of said quarter section; thence east 1172.16 feet along a line 33 feet south of and parallel with the north line of the south half of said northeast quarter of Section 18; thence so-,.th 330 fret; thence west 1172.16 feet to the west line of the south half of said northeast quarter of Section 18; thence north 330 feet to the place of beginning, which tract of land does not e,<-ce-d 20 acres in area, and which is so situated that all of the west boundary line thereof lies upon or touches the present boundary line of said City of Salina as her-tofore established, and all of the north boundary line of which touches the boundary line of the City of Salina as established by Section 3 of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina, Kansas." That the corporate limits of the City of Salina be and the same are hereby extended to include the territory added to, taken into and made parts of said city under the provisions of the preceeding sections of this ordinance, and that all oft he land lying within the following described boundaries be and the same is hereby 0456 declared to be within the corporate limits of said city and made a part of said city and that such corporate limits be and the same are hereby defined, as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the center of Ninth Street with the center of Cloud Avenue, being the corner common to Sections 23, 24, 25 and 26, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the 6th P. rvl.in Saline County, Kansas; thence west along the south line of said Section 23 to the southwest corner of Evergreen Park Addition; thence north along the west line of Evergreen Park Addition to the northwest corner of said addition, such point being in the south line of Claflin Avenue as shown on the plat of Pleasant View Addition;
