AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $3042.15 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the Special
Seger Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of Estimate
No. 2, for material furnished in the construction of Ash Street sewer
prior to February lst, 1930, under contract dated December 9th, 1920.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
ninety days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four
and one-half per cent (4-1%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from ar,d after its passage.

Salina, Kansas.

one-half per cent (42%) per annum.

be in force from and after its passage.
