AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a cer-
tain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $916.00 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from
the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of
85a of Estimate No. 1, for material furnished in the construction
of Ash Street sewer prior to January 1st, 1930, under contract
dated December 9th, 1929;
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 120 days from date, and to draw interest
at the rate of four and one-half per cent (42`x) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
