3822 Arterial HighwaysQ ORDINANCE NO. 3822 (Published in the Salina Journa 1930) AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3037, being Section 29-201 Revised Ordinances 1925, relating to vehicular traffic and providing for the designation of certain streets and parts thereof as "arterial highways" and repealing said original section. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina',- Kansas alina;Kansas Section 1. That ''ection 1 of Ordinance No. 3037, being Section 29-212 Revised Ordinances 1925 be and the same is hereby repealed to read as follows: "Section 1. That the following named streets and avenues, or portions thereof, in the City of Salina, within the limits here- ih mentioned, shall be and they are hereby designated as "arterial highways", towwit: (a) Santa Fe Avenue from the north line of Claflii Avenue to the south line of Otis Avenue (except the intersection of Iron Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue) (b) Iron Avenue from the east line of College Avenue to the west line of Marymount Road (except the intersection of Iron Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue) (c) Ash Street from the east line of College Street to the west line of Ohio Street (except the intersection of Santa Fe and Ash Street). (d) Ninth Street from the south line of Ash Street to the south line of Cloud Street, except as Iron Avenue. (e) The south side of Bishop Street at Twelfth Street and at Philips Street. (f) Such other streets or portions thereof, or intersections of streets, as the Board of Commissioners may from time to time designate by motion; provided that this ordinance shall not take effect as to streets or intersections so designated until stop signs shall be placed in such streets or intersections to indicate that vehicles must stop before entering the same." Section 2. That original Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3037 being Section 29-201 Revised Ordinances 1925 be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 3.
