3815 AppropriationsAN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $6,394.70 pe and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from
the Sever Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of
contract price for material furnished and labor performed in the
construction of Storm Sewers Numbered 9 and 10, prior to December
lst, 1929, under contract dated March 25, 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned •
in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $60394.70 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction
Company from the Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the
payment of 85% of contract price for material furnished
and labor performed in the construction of Storm Sewers
Numbered 9 and 100 prior to December 1st, 1929, under con-
tract dated March 25, 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and
he is hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned
by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the payment
of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
