AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $9,352.84 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company from the
Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of con-
tract price for material furnished and labor performed in the
construction of Storm Sewer No. 9 and 10, prior to November 1,
19291, under contract dated March 25, 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. what the Director of Finance be and he is hereby
directed to issue a warrant countersigned by the City Manager
upon the City Treasurer for the payment of the claim mentioned
in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

same is hereby appropriated toH. J. Taylor Construction
Company from the Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the

and 100 prior to November 10 1929, under contract dated
March 258 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and

of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
