3785 AnnexORDINANCE NO. 3765 AN ORDINANCE providing that a certain unplatted tract of land, which adjoins the present limits of the City of Salina, Kansas be added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina; extending the limits of said city so as to include said added land; defining the corporate limits of said dity as extended, and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That that certain tract of unplatted land, lying in the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of Section One (1) Township r'ourteen (14) south, Range Three (3) west of the 6th P.M. In Saline County, Kansas, described by metes and bounds as follows: "Commencing at a point 1270 feet east and 315.7 feet more or less, north of the southwest corner of the northwest quarter of Section 1, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the 6th P. M. in Saline County, Kansas, being the northeast corner of College Court Addition, thence running west parallel with the south line of said quarter section 1048 feet more or less to the center of the channel of Dry Creek; thence down the center of the channel of Dry Creek to a point 736 feet north of said south line of said quarter section; thence east parallel with said south line of said quarter section 930 feet more or less, to the west line of the public road known as Fifth Street; thence south on said line 420 feet more or less, to place of beginning; containing ten (10) acres more or less." which tract of land does not exceed t:enty acres in area and which is so situated that all of the south boundary line thereof lies upon or touches the present north boundary line of the City of Salina, together with the west half of the public road lying along the east side of said tract, be and the same is hereby added to, taken into and made a part of the City of Salina. Section 2. That the corporate limits of the City of Salina be and the same are hereby extended to include the territory added to, taken into and made a hart of said city under the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance, and that all of the land lying within the following described boundaries be and the same is hereby declared to be within the corporate limits of said city and made a part of said city, and that such corporate limits be and the same are hereby defined as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the center of Ninth Street with the center of Cloud Avenue, being the corner common to Sections 23, 24, 25 and 26, Township 14, south, Range 3 west of the 6th P.
