AN ORDINANCE relating to the appropriation of certain private property
for the widening of Ohio Street from the south line of Gypsum
Avenue to the south city limits at the intersection of Ohio
Street and Greeley Avenue.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That it is deemed necessary by the Board of Com-
missioners of saia city to appropriate certain private property in the
City of Salina for the purpose of widening Ohio Street from the south
line of Gypsum Avenue south to the south city limits at the intersection
of Ohio Street and Gypsum Avenue, the land to be taken and appropriated
for such purpose being described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the south line of Gypsum
Avdnue with the west line of Ohio Street; thence soutJ2 along the west
line of Ohio Street to the intersection of said line with the south
city limits being the south line of the northeast quarter of Section
13, Township 14 south, Range 3 west of the sixth P. M.; thence west
seven feet; thence north along a line seven feet west of and parallel
with the west line of Ohio Street to the south line of Gypsum Avenue,
thence east along the south line of Gypsum Avenue to the point of
beginning; said land comprising the east seven feet of Lots 2, 80 9,
10, 11, 12 and 6 of Surveyors Plat No. 12; and that the City Engineer
of said city be and he is hereby ordered and directed to make a survey
and description of the land cnecessary to be appropri-.ted so as to
permit the widening of said street as aforesaid and to file the same
with the City Clerk on or before the 9th day of September, 1929,
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after it publication in the official city paper.

line of Gypsum Avenue to the point of beginning; said land comprising
the east seven feet of Lots 2, 6, 90 100 11, 12 and 6 of Surveyors
Plat No. 12; and that the City Engineer of said city be and he is
hereby ordered and directed to make a survey and description of
the land necessary to be appropriated so as to permit the widenizg
of said street as aforesaid and to file the same with the City Clerk
on or before the 9th day of September, 1929.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
