ORDINANCE N0, 3777
AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $12,247.41 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Constructiaz Company, from
the Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85%
of the contract price for materials furnished and labor performed
prior to September lst, 1929, in the construction of Storm Sewers
No. 9 and 10 under contract dated March 25, 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section (1) of
this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on or before
120 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of six per
cent (6%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

Section 1. That the sum of $120247.41 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company,
from the Special sewer Fund in the City Lreasur7 for the pay-
ment of 85% of the contract price for materials furnished and
labor performed prior to oeptember lst, 1929s in the con-
struction of Storm Sewers No. 9 and 10, under contract dated
March 258 1929, Job No. 40.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the city of
Galina, Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim men-
tioned in Section (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note
to be payable on or before , x.20 days from date,
and to draw interest at the rate of six per cent (6,%) per
annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
