AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $2,447.06 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, from Special
Waving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the con-
tract price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to
September lst, 1929, under contract dated June 10th, 1929, Job No,
48.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina, Kansas,
be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section One (1)
of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on on 'before
30 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of four and one-
half per cent (421%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Hoard of Commissioners of the City of
balina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $28447.06 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to H. J. Taylor Construction Company, from
the Special Paving Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of
85% of the contract price for materials furnished and labor per-
formed prior to September 1st, 1929, under contract dated June
10th, 1929, Job No. 48.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be payable on
or before 30 days,- from date, and to draw interest at
the rate of four and one-half per cent (4j%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
