AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $5,430.56 be and the same is here-
by appropriated to M R. Amerman of Wichita, Kansas, from the
Special Sewer Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85%
of the contract price for material furnished and labor performed
prior to September 1st, 1929, in the construction of Storm Sewer,
under contrgct dated June 10th, 1929, Job No. 48.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be
payable on or before 120 days from date, and to draw interest
at the rate of four and one-half per cent (42%) per annum
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.

Section 1. That the sum of $50430.56 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to M. R. Amerman of Wichita,
Kansas, from the Special hewer fund in the City Treasury
for the payment of 85% of the contract price for material
