AN OhDINhNCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT uAD .I1vED by the Board of Commissionersof the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. 'That the sum of $ 150231.11 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving rund
in the City Treasury for the payment of 8596 of the contract price
for materials furnished and labor performed prior to ,tugust 1st,
1929, in the construction of excavating, curbing, guttering, and
paving certain streets, under contract dated June 10th, 1929.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be isaz ed for the payment of the claim mentioned in Section
One (1) of this ordinance, said Tempoary Note to be payable on
or before 60 days from date, and to draw interest at the rate of
four and one-half per cent (4-21%) per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.

AN ORDINANCE making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissionersof the City of Salina,
Kansas.
Section 1. That the sum of $ 15,231.11 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to L. W. Rexroad from the Special Paving
Fund in the City Treasury for the payment of 85% of the contract
price for materials furnished and labor performed prior to kugust
1st, 1929, in the construction of excavating, curbing, guttering,
and paving certain streets, under contract dated June 10th,n1929.
Section 2. That a Temporary Note of the City of Salina,
Kansas, be issued for the payment of the claim mentioned in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said Temporary Note to be pay-
able on or before �'j , 60 days from date, and to draw
interest at the rate of four and one-half per cent (4-21%) per
annum .
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
