AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 4709 relating to milk and milk products.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That the words Nand which shall be plainly labeled
'cooking only'" be and the same are hereby eliminated and deleted from the
last paragraph of Item 23P of Section 7 of Ordinance No. 4709.
Section 2. That the third paragraph of Section 10 of Ordinance
No. 4709 be and the same is hereby repealed and that the following paragraph
being the same as the fourth paragraph of Section 10 of the U. S. Public
Health Service Standard Milk Ordinance be substituted in lieu thereof to -wit:
"No milk or milk products shall be permitted to come in contact with equip-
ment with which a lower grade of milk or milk products has been in contact
unless such equipment has first been thoroughly cleaned and subjected to
bactericidal treatment."
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.
