AN ORDIi;A.10Eprovidin for the vacation of a certain portion of an alley in Jones
Addition which runs north and south between Fourth and Fifth Streets north
of North Street.
E IT 6RDAINLD by the i-)oard of Com-missioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the south 150 feet of the ten foot alley which runs
north and south between Fourth and Fifth Streets north of North Street, and which
lies west of and adjacent to Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11 on Fourth Street and east
of and adjacent to Lots 2, 4, 6, B, 10 and 12 on Fifth Street in Jones Addition to
the City of Salina, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated as and for a public
alley and that said r,o rtion of said alley so vacated shall revert to and become a
part of the lots which lie adjacent to and abut upon said portion of said alley so
vacated as above described, in equal portions as provided by law, subject however
to the following reservations and conditions, to -,crit: The City of Salina shall and
does hereby reserve a right-of-way and easement on, over and under said portion of
said alley so vacated for the construction and maintenance thereon and therein of
sewer, water and -as lines, and for telephone and electric wires, poles and conduits,
which are now or ;�ay hereafter be constructed therein by or under the direction of
the city or with its consent, and ;provided further, that no building or structures
shall at any time be erected or constructed on or moved onto said vacated portion
of said alley.
Section 2. The cost of publishing this ordinance and recording a certified
co-py thereof as hereinafter provided for, shall be paid by the owners of the land
adjacent to and abutting upon said portion of said alley herein vacated.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force; after its
1:111blication in the of"Icial city paper and after a certified co -'y thereof, and proof
of pi:.blication is recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline County,
Kansas.

AN GRDI"A�ICE providing for the vacation of a certain portion of an alley in Jones

BE IT URDAIIZD by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas,
Section -l.- That the south 150 feet of the ten foot alley ,rhicn runs north
and south between Fourth and Fifth Streets north of North Street, and which lies

Kansas.
