AP ORDIANCE vacating a portion of a certain alley in Block 15 in Pacific
Add `_tion.

Section 1. That that certain portion of the alley runs north
i
and south in Flock 15 in Pacific Additinn in the City of Salina, Kansas, from
the south li_ie of ;oodland Avenue to the .ortn line of the intersecting alley
waich runs east and west in said Block 15, and which lies west of and adjacent
to Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 in said Block 15, and which lies

east of and adjacent to Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 in said block
15 in Pacific Addition, be and the same is hereby vacated as and for a public

alley and that the same revert to and become a .Dart of the lots upon which it
abutts, to -wit: The east one-half of that _portion of the alley so vacated
I shall revert to and become a part of said Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18

and 20 inclusive and the west one-half of that portion of said alley so vacated

shall revert to and become a hart of the Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and
19 inclusive; Provided, however, that the City of Salina shall and it does here-
I by reserve and retain in said alley an easement for the purpose of constructing

and nairtaining therein or permittin.'- to be constructed and _,ai.ntained therein

dater, gas, sewer, telephone and electric light pines, conduits, holes, and,�or

:^fires, the same to be constructed and/or maintained in said vacated portion of

said alley at such places as the city may desi.-,nate and no improvements shall be
erected or maintained on or over the vacated oortion of said alley by the owner
of any of said lots tirfhich will interfere ir:ith or prevent the use of such ease; ent
for thepurposes herein reserved.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its
publication in the official city paler and after a co•r thereof and of the
proof

of publication, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be recorded in the office
of the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas:, Provided, that the cost of
nublication of the ordinance and of recording of such certified copy stall be paid j
by the o-�ners of the land hereinabove described.

AN ORDI�iANCE vacating a portion of a certain alley in Block 15 in Pacific
Addition.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, ia.nsas:
Section 1. That that certain portion of the alley which runs _north
and south in Block 15 in Pacific Addition in the City of Salina, Kansas,
from the south line of woodland Avenue to the North line of the intersecting
alley ,•,hich runs east and west in said Block 15 R.i:d which lies west of and
adjacent to Lots 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 in said Block 15,
and which lies east of and adjacent to Lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and
19 in said Block 15 in Pacific Addition, be and the same is hereby vacated
as and for a public alley and that the same revert to and become a part of
the lots upon which it abutts, to -wit: The east one-half of that portion
of the alley so vacated shall revert to and become a part of said lots 2,
4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 inclusive and the west one-half of that
portion of said alley so vacated shall revert to and become a part of the
lots 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 inclusive; Provided, however, that
the City of salina shall and it does hereby reserve and retain in said alley
an easement for the purpose of constructing; and maintaining therein or per-
mitting to be constructed and maintained therein water, gas, sewer, telephone
and electric light pines, conduits, poles, andAr wires, the same to be con-
structed andAr maintained in said vacated portion of said alley at such
places as the city may designate and no improvements shall be erected or
maintained on or over the vacated portion of said alley by the owner of
any of said lots which will interfere with or prevent the use of such ease-
ment for the purposes herein reserved.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after its
publication in the official city paper and after a copy thereof and of the
proof of GM publication, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be recorded
in the office of the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas; Provided,
that the cost of publication of the ordinance and of recording of such certi-
sig fied copy shall be paid by the owners of the land hereinabove described.
