AN ORDINANCE vacating a certain alley in the City of Salina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAIi`2ED by the Board of Coinnissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas
Section 1. That the alley which runs east and west from Ninth Street to Tenth
Street, the said alley being 10 feet wide and which lies south of and abuts upon the
south line of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Houghton and Peck Addition and
which lies north of and abuts upon the north line of Lots 12, 2, 14, 15 and 16 of
Block 1 of Replat of Replat of Part of Morrison's Third Addition East of Tenth Stre,.t,
be and the same is hereby vacated as and for a public alley that the same shall revert
to and become a part of the lots upon which it abouts to -wit: The north half of said
alley shall revert to and become a part of said lots in Houghton and Peck Addition and
the south half of said alley shall revert to and become a part of said lots above re-
ferred to in Replat of Repalt of a part of Ylorrison's Third Addition east of Tenth
Street, provided, however, that the City of Salina shall and it does hereby retain
in said alley an easement for the purpose of constructing and maintaining, or permitting
to be constructed and maintained therein water, gas, sewer, telephone and electric light
pipes, conduit, poles and/or wires, the same to be constructed and maintained in said
vacated alley at such places as the city may designate.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication in the o''ficial city paper.
