4985 SalariesORDINANCE NC,. 4985 (Published in the Salina Journal 1941) AN ORDINANCE relating to and fixing the salaries of certain officers and employees of the City of Salina dnd repealing parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof. BE 1T ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That from and after January 1, 1941, the salaries of officers and employees of the City of Salina hereinafter named and set forht scall be the amount hereinafter fixed i,.ith respect to each such officer and ei-ciployee. Section 2. The salary of the Deputy City Clerk and ex -officio deptuy director of finance shall be $125.00 per month. Section 3. The salary of the Park Superintendent (who shall furnish his own auto- mobile and pay the expense of operation and upkeep thereof) shallbe $165.00 per month. Section 4. The salary of the Saterworks Chemist in the Vmtery.orks Department, (in addition to his salary as Milk Inspector) shall be t40.00 per month. Section 5. The salary of the Police matron shallbe $15000 per month. Section 6. That Section 6-507 of the Revised Ordinances City of Salina 1939, being Section 6 of Ordinance No. 4825, and that parts of Sections 6-311 and 6-:517 of the Revised Ordinances City of Salina 1 3�, being Secticn 9 of Ordinance No. 4825, relating to the salary of '.,'�taterworks Cnemist and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4962 relating to the salary of the Deputy City Clerk, to the extent that such sections or parts thereof ,are in conflict with the provis'i.ons of this ordinance, and any other ordinances or carts tr_ereof to the extent that they Lre in conflict with the oro!isions of this ordinance, be and tine same are hereby renlealed. Section 7. This ordinance shall take effect and -le in force from -and after it publication in the official city paper. That Sect: -ens 6-307 of the Revised Ordinances City of Salina 1939, being Section 6 of Ordinance No. 4825, and that parts of Sections 6-311 and 6-317 of the Revised Ordinances City of Salina 1935, being Section 9 of Ordinance No. 4825, relating to the salary of Viaterworks Chemist and Section 1 of Ordinance No. 4962 relating to the salary of the Deputy City Clerk, to the extent thtt such sections or parts thereof are in conflict with the pro- visions of this ordinance, and any other ordinances or parts thereof to the extent that they are in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance, be and the same are hereby repealed. Section This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the olficial city paper.
