Journal 1940) Y 0RDINALICE providing for and creating a Board of Health in the City of Salina, and repealing ordinance No. 4805 of said City. B`r; IT ORDkINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, lansas: Section 1. There is hereby created in and for the City of Salina, Kansas a Board of Health consisting of three members, one of whom shall be designated at the time of his appointment as the Chairman of said Board of Health. The members of said Board of Health shall be appointed by the Board of Conunissioners for a term expiring on the first day of -!ay following the passage of this ordinance, and thereafter such members shall be appointed for terms of one year from and after the first day of ".Lay in each rear, and the members of said Board shall serve until their successors are appointed and qualified. The members of such Board shall receive such compensation from the treasury of such city as may be allowed and a-Fropriated for such pr.irncse by the Board. of Corunissioners. Section 2.
