BE ='r ORDAINED b.r the Board_ of Conj.missi.oners o'' the City of Sal`na, ti'a-�sas:
Section 1, That the sum of 11,6755 mills on the dollar be and the samne
is herebir levied on all real, personal and mixed pronerty of whatsoever kind
or nature (except intangilbe property otherwise taxed or assessed according to
law) in the City of Salina, r^hi ch is a City of the first class 1'iaving a nop ula-
tion less than 50,000, for the year 1941 for the -)ureases :erei_.after set
forth, and apportioned and divided as follows:

Section 2. That the valuation of the pro-erty amen rhlich the forer-o4n- taxes
are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assess;nent rolls for the
present year in the office of the Countv Clerk of .',,line CO'.nty, Kansas, and it
shall be the day of the City Clerk of Sal`na, Kansas, immediately on and after
the passage and taking effect of this crdinance, and on or before the 25th day
of Aurrust 1940 to transmit a duly certified co y of this ordinance to the County
Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy of taxes herein provided for
_,-.ay be placed upon the tax rolls and the taxes collected according to law.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its publication once in the official city paper.
