AN ORDINANCE relating to projecting or hanging signs.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. Projecting or hanging signs as described in Section 5-604
Revised Ordinance 1939, hereafter erected or constructed may extend a dis-
tance of not more than seven (7) feet from the perpendicular side of the
building, structure, post or other fixture to which the same may be attached
or affixed and in no event more than seven (7) feet from the property line,
instead of six (6) feet as provided for in Section 5-604 Revised Ordinances
1939; Provided that all other provisions of said Section 5-604 shall remain
in effect and unchanged as therein provided, and that the penalty for the
violation of said Section 5-604 shall be and remain in effect with respect
to any violation of this ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication in the official city paper.
