AN ORDINANCE amending Section 22 of Ordinance No. 1480, being
Section 9-113 of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina
1925 relating to the Fire Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kan sas:
Section 1. That Section 22 of Ordinance No. 1480 being Section
9 -113 -of e Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina 1925 be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"9-113. CHIEF MAY REQUIRE AID OF VEHICLES OR OF HORSE OR TEA? -
1 -REFUSAL; PENALTY: It shall be lawful for the Chief of the Fire
Department or officer in command of any company or for the City
Manager, to require the aid of any vehicle or of any horse or
tears found in the city at the time, in conveying any fire apparatus
of any kind to any fire or in case of any emergency; and if any
person shallrefuse or neglect to comply with such demand, he shall
be liable to pay a fine not to exceed '25.00.
Section 2. that Section 22 of Ordinance 1480 (being Section
i 9-113 of Revised Ordinances 1925) be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the official city paper.
