ORDINANCE NUMBER 4912
AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing the appropriation and
transfer of a certain amount from the Waterworks Fund to the
General Bonds & Interest Fund in the City Treasury, for the
purchase of bonds for'the Sinking Pund or Investment Account
of the -aterworks Department.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby appropriated
and transferred from the 'Waterworks Fund in the City Treasury to
the General Bonds and Interest Fund in the City Treasury, the
amount of $31,198.09 in payment of the purchase price of the fol-
lowing Refunding Bonds issued under the provisions of Ordinance
Number 4811, and which were purchased fromthe City of Salina for
the Sinking Fund or Investment Account of the Waterworks Lepartment Fund,
at the time of the sale of said bonds, by authority of the Commis-
sioners, said bonds so purchased and the price to be paid therefor
being as follows:

Section 2. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to make the proper entry on the
books of the City of Salina to effect the transfer of said amount
from the Waterworks Fund to the General Bonds and Interest Fund, as
herein provided for.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
