All ORDINANCE providing for the regu-ation of places of business wherein cereal malt
beverages are sold at retail for con= option on the preraises amid providing for
the revocation of tine license of any finm, person, partinership, association or
any other licensee for the violation thereof and a,.enaing ordinance No. 4741
of the City of Salina by enactment of new sections, being, Sections 21 and 22

ITHEREAS, ticker machines have been employed in certain cereal malt oeverage retail
establishuments in the City of Salina; and

,=i'r.REAS, said ticker machines have been employed as a means to facilitate -ambling
in and about such establishment; and
C11hREAS, the Board of Coily,aiss'oners deers it udviseaole to pronioit possessio.i and
use of said ticker machine in and about premises eLiployed as a place for the retail
sale of cereal malt be-,:erages; and
60 NOW, H E'rOkE, be it ordained by the :gourd of Coi-rLmissioners of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That a certain ordinance No. 4741, bein�r an ordinance relating to
tile; regulation, licer:sing and taxing of persons enF ed in the retail sale of cereal
malt beverures, enacted April 49, 1957, be and it is hereby amended by the enactment
of two new sections, being sections twority-one (21) and tzaenty-t,,,o (22), readinn; as
follows:
"6ection 21. That any person licensed to retail cereal malt beverages for
coi,su--ption on the premises pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 4741 tmd
all amendments thereto is hereby prohibited from n<aving in nis, her or its :possession
or in, on or about the premises, where cereal malt bevera;es are sold at retail,

tier or its employees, servants, agents or m.istoLlers obtain or :receive data or in-
forr.ustion relating to sports events, including, but not by tiv^;y of limit« -tion,
professional or amateur baseball games, horse racing, basxetball games, football
games, do racing, track meets, or any and all other snorts events.

"Section 22. That any person violating tile; provisions of Section 21 of Ordnance
No. 4741 as hereby amended, as determined by the Board of Cormissioners of the City
of Salina, that then and in that event, any license issued unc:er the terms and condi-
tions of Ordinance No. 4'7,.1 and aiaendiaents thereto, racy be revoked as in said
Ordinance No. 4741 provided for other causes."
Section G. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and nuulication once in the official city paper.
