AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of certain portions of Lincoln Street in
the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a certain portion of Lincoln Street in the City of Salina,
Kansas, described as follows: commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 28 on Fifth
Street in Jones Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence north twenty feet,
thence east 250 feet, thence south twenty feet to the northeast corner of Lot 27 on
Fourth Street in Jones Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence west on the
north line of said Lot 27 and the north line of said Lot 28,250 feet to the place of
beginning; be and it is hereby vacated.
Section 2. That the portions of said street vacated adjacent to said Lots 27
and 28 as described in Section 1 of this ordinance shall accrue to and become a part
of said lots.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after adoption, publication once in the official city paper, payment of the cost of
said publication and the cost of recording a certified copy hereof in the office of
the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas, by the owner or otivners of the adjacent
land.
