AN ORDINANCE providing for authorizing and confirming the construction of a
certain building so that it protrudes into Pacific Avenue in the City of
Salina, Kansas, as that street is laid out and dedicated in said City.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the construction of a certain building in and upon Lot
One (1) in Block Five (5) in Woodland Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas,
so that said building encroaches upon and protrudes into Pacific Avenue of the
said city as that street is dedicated and laid out, over a specific area here-
inafter described, is hereby confirmed, approved and allowed, said area being
described as follows, to -wit:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Lot One
(1), thence north Eighteen (18") inches, thence in
a westerly direction, parallel.with the north line
of said Lot One (1), Thirty-four (34') feet, thence
south Eighteen (18") inches to the north line of
said Lot One (1), thence east on the north line of
said Lot One (1) Thirty-four (341) feet to the place
of beginning.
PROVIDED THAT this ordinance shallnot permit and authorize the reconstrue-
tion or replacement of said building so that it encroaches as hereinbefore
authorized.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its publication once in the official city paper.
