AN ORDINAiVCE providing for the vacation of certain portions of Eighth Street and
Teague Street in the City of Salina, and providing for the reservation of
easements therein.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1, That Eighth Street from the north line of Otis Avenue to the south
line of Euclid Avenue and Teague Street from the east line of Ninth Street to the
west line of Eighth Street, be, and each of the same are, hereby vacated, provided,
however, that the City of Salina reserves the right of ingress and egress for the
purpose of constructing and maintaining in said portions of said streets, sewers,
water mains, electric light and telephone poles and lines and gas mains.
Section 2. That the respective halves of said streets shall accrue to the ad-
joining land adjacent thereto.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
adoption, publication once in the official city paper, payment of the cost of said
publication and the cost of recording a certified copy hereof in the office of the
Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas, by the owner or owners of the adjacent
land.
