ORDINANCE N0. 5160

AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a certain north and south public
alley connecting Pacific Street and Broadway Avenue and between Ninth
Street and Tenth Street in the City of Salina.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a certain north and south public alley connecting Pacific
Street and Broadway Avenue and between Ninth Street and Tenth Street in the City
of Salina, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated, provided, however, that
the City of Salina reserves the right of ingress and egress for the purpose of
constructing, reconstructing and maintaining in said alley, sewers or water mains
necessary by said city.
Section 2. That the west one-half of said alley so vacated shall accrue to
lots one (1) and three (3) block four (4) Pacific Addition to the City of Salina
and the east one-half thereof shall accrue to the land adjacent thereto on the
east side of said alley.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and affect from and
after adoption, publication once in the official city paper, payment of the cost
of said publication and the cost of recording a certified copy hereof in the office
of the Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas, by the owner of Lots one (1)
and Three (3) as defined in Section 2 hereof.
