AN ORDINANCE dedicating certain land to the public use for the purpose of opening
widening and extending certain streets and alleys, being (1) Fifth Street
north of the intersection of Fifth Street and Pacific Street, and (2)
Pacific Street between the east line of a certain north and south public
alley (between Santa Fe Avenue and Fifth Street) and the center line of
Fifth Street, and (3) a certain north and south Public alley lying and
situated north of Pacific Street and between Santa Fe Avenue and Fifth
Street, all in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
BE IT ORDA131ED by the Board of Commissioners of the City _�f Salinaw
Section 1. That the following described land, to -wit:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot Six (6), Block Three (3)
in the Episcopal Military Institute Addition to the City of Salina, thence
east forty (40) feet, thence south ninety-two (92) feet, thence west forty
(40) feet; thence north ninety-two (92) feet to place of beginning in the
City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be, and the same is hereby opened
and dedicated to the public use for street and public highway purposes, to
be known as a part of Fifth Street.
Section 2. That the following described land, to -wit:
Commencing at a point ninety-two (92) feet south of the southeast
corner of Lot Six (6), Block Three (3), Apiscopal Military Institute Addition
to the City of Salina, Kansas, thence east forty (40) feet, thence south forty
(40) feet, thence west one hundred sixty-five (165) feet, thence north forty
(40) feet, thence east one hundred twenty-five (125) feet to place of beginning,
in the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby opened
and dedicated to the public use for street and public highway purposes to be
known as a part of Pacific Street.
Section 3. That the following described land, to -wit:
Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot Six (6), Block Three (3)
in the Episcopal Military Institute Addition to the City of Salina,.thenee
west five (5) feet, thence south ninety-two (92) feet, thence east five (5)
feet, thence north ninety-two (92) feet to place of beginning, in the City
of Salina, Saline County, Kansas, be, and the same is hereby opened and dedica-
ted to the public use for public alley and public highway purposes, to be know
as a part of a certain public alley lying and situated north of the north line
of Pacific Street, as in the ordinance extended and widened, and between Santa
Fe Avenue and Fifth Street.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the official city paper.
