AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of a portion of a certain alley in the City of
Sal ina, Kansas.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That that portion and part of an alley running north and south between
Third and Fourth Streets lying and situated between Lots 181, 185, 185 and 187 on Fourth
Street and Lots 182, 184 and 186 on Third Street, all in the Original Town of Salina,
Saline County, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated as and for a public alley and that
said alley shall revert to and become parts of the described lots adjacent thereto in
equal proportions, as provided by law; Provided, however, that the City of Salina hereby
reserves a right of way and easement in portions of said alley so vacated for the purpose
of laying, constructing, repairing and maintaining water mains, sewers and for permitting
therein the construction, laying, repairing, maintaining of electric light and telephone
wires, poles, conduits and gas mains by persons or entities having a franchise or permit
therefor from theCity of Salina.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its
publication in the official city paper.
