5135 Create Industrial Development Advisory Board1 k 1 ORDINANCE N0. 5135 (Published in the Salina Journal � q 1944) AN ORDINANCE creating an Industrial Development Advisory Board and setting out its pourers and duties. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That there be and hereby is created an Industrial Development Advisorty Board which consists of not to exceed eleven (11) members who shall serve without compensation, and who shall be appointed by the Board of Coimallss oners of the City of Salina. The members of said board shall be appointed for a period of one (1) year from the first day of January of each year. Any vacancy caused by death, resignation, or any cause other than by expiration of a regular term, shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term only. Such board shall organize by electing a Chairman and Secretary and shall provide its own rules of order. It shall be the duty of such board to consult with and advise the director of Industrial Development with reference to the operation of the Depart- ment of Industrial Development, and make such recommendations as it may deem necessary or proper for the conduct and operation of said department, Section 2.
