All ORDIJAITCE designating certain alleys as one ,,ray alleys providing for pro?)er
simns instructing the public and regulating the brae allowed to public in
said alleys for leading and unloading.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Corcnissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following alleys are hereby designated as one -,.'ay alleys
and traffic may move in one direction only along said alleys:
(a) Alley between Fifth Street and Santa Fe Avenue from Ash Street
to Walnut Street;
(b) Xlley betiu-Teen Santa Fe Avenue and Seventh Street from Elm Street
to Walnut Street;
(c) 41ley between Seventh Street and Eighth Street from Ash to Iron
Avenue.
Section 2. The City Ivianager is hereby instructed to cause suitable signs
to be erected designating the direction of the flow of tra" is through the alleys
designated as one-tiiay alleys in Section ,, l of this ordinance.
Section S. Parking in the alleys designated in Section 1 of this ordinance
is hereby prohibited except for the-)urpose of loading and unloading, and in no
instance r.iay a vehicle be parked loner than fifteen minutes in any one place or
one stop when other vehicles are waiting for passage along the alley.
Section 4. All parking is prohibited in the alley between Fifth Street and
Santa Fe Avenue from Ash Street south one-hundred(100) feet, for purpose of allow-
ing Fire Department trucks free and clear ingress and egress.
Section 5. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be deened guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction
thereof shall be fined not more than 4100.00.
Section 6. TIiis ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and
publication in the official city paper.
