Ali ORDINANCE amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 5085 and repealing said original
section.
BE IT ORDAINED by the -board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas=
Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 5085 be and the same is hereby
amended to read as follows: Section 3. Said bonds shall be designated as Series
P-133 and shall be in the form and shall contain recitals substantially as follows:

INTERNAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That the City of Salina, in the County of
self to be indebted and for value received
Saline, State of Kansas, acknowledges it
hereby promises to pay to the bearer the sun of
in lawful money of the United States of America, on the first day of April, 19 ,
with interest thereon fromthe date hereof at the rate of One per cent per annum,
payable semi-annually on the first day of October and April in each year, on presen-
tation and surrender of the interest coupons hereto annexed, as said coupons several-
ly become due, both principal and interest of this bond being payable at the office
of the State Treasurer of the State of Kansas, in the City of Topeka, Kansas. And
said City of Salina, Kansas, is held and firmly bound by these presents and full
faith, credit and resources of said City are hereby irrevocably pledged for the
payment of said principal and interest at maturity.
This bond is one of a series of 20 bonds of like date and tenor, excepting
maturity, aggregating the sum of $10,010.01, issued by the City of Salina, Kansas,
s for the purpose of paying the cost of certain paving improvements in said City by
the authority and in full compliance with the provisions, restrictions and limita-
tions of the constitution and laws of the State of Kansas, including Sections 10-
101 to 10-115, 12-601 to 12-608, and 13-1011 and 1011a, General Statutes of Kansas
1935, and such sections as amended, and all other provisions of the laws of said
state applicable thereto, and this bond and all other bonds of this series and all
interest thereon are to be paid by the City of Salina, Kansas.
AND IT IS HEREBY DECLARED AND CERTIFIED that all acts, conditions and things
required to be done and to exist precedent to and in the issuance of this bond have
been properly done and performed and do exist in due and regular form and manner as
required by the Constitution and laws of the State of Kansas, and that the total
indebtedness of said city, including this series of bonds, does not exceed in any
constitutional or statutory limitation.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said City of Salina, Kansas, has executed this bond
by causing it to be signed by its Mayor and its corporate seal to be hereto affixed,
attested by its City Clerk and the coup -ms hereto attached to be signed with the
facsimile signatures of said officers, and this bond to be dated April 1, 1945.
