5056 Street Name Change West PlaceORDINANCE NO. 5056 (Published in the Salina Journal / 1944) AN ORDINANCE to change the name of a street beginning at the north line of Walnut Street and west of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, thence north along the Missouri Pacific right-of-way to Elm Street, along the east side of Leavenworth Addition, replat of Dodge's Addition, Surveyor's Plat No. 31 and Elmdale Addition, formerly known as Railroad Street to be changed to West Place. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas; Section 1. That the name of Railroad Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, from the north line of Walnut Street and west of the Missouri Pacific Railroad, thence north along the Missouri Pacific right-of-way to Elm Street, along the east side of Leavenworth Addition replat of Dodge's Addition, Surveyor's plat No. 31 and Elm Street, be and the same is hereby changed to West Place. Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
