Banker, City Clerk of the City of Salina, Kansas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 5053 passed and approved by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina May 29, 1944; and a record of the vote on its final adoption is found on page Journal No. 15, City Clerk 1 (Published in the Salina Journal on_,the 2day ot'��-�-/ 1944) AN ORDINANCE providing for the exclusion of a certain area from the fire limits of the City of Salina, Kansas, and repealing Ordinance No, 6047. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners the City Salina: of of Section 1. That the following described tract and parcel of land shall be and it is hereby excluded from the fire limits of the City of Salina, notwith- standing any provision to the contrary in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 3040 (Section 11-101 Revised Ordinances, 1939) as follows, to -wit: Commencing at the point where the north line of the right of way of The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company intersects with the west line of Seventh Street in the City of Salina, thence in a westerly direction along the north line of said right of way to the point where the north line of said right of way intersects with the east line of Ninth Street in said City, thence north along the east line of Ninth Street to the point where the east line of said Ninth Street intersects with the north line of the right of way The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Qompany, thence in an easterly direction along the north line of said right of way of The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad k;ompany to a point where such right of way intersects with the west line of Seventh Street, thence south along the west side of Seventh Street to the place of beginning. Section 2. That Ordinance No. 5047 be and the same is hereby repealed. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its publication in the official city paper.
