BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Cor aissioners of the City of Salina: Section 1. That the officers and employees, which includes all of the officers of the City of Salina, Kansas, named in this ordinance shall receive the salaries or vuages as herein specified. Section 2. Administrative Department: 1. City Manager, per annum -2700.00 Section 3. Law Department: 1. City Attorney, per annum '2400.00. 2. Police Judge, per annum 0 900.00 Section 4. Department of Public Welfare: 1. City Health Officer or Director, per annum 02220.00 Section 5. Park Department: 1. Superintendent of Parks per annura 02400.00 Section 6. Department of Safety: 1. Chief of Police, per annum 43000.00 2. Fire Chief, per annum 43000.00 Section 7. Department of .service: 1. City Engineer, per annum 43000.00 2. Superintendent of Streets, per annum 43000.00 Section 8. Department of r'inance: 1. City Clerk, per annum 01500.00 2. Deputy City Clerk, per annum o2100.00 3. City Treasurer, per annum 4 500.00 Section 9. Waterworks Department: 1. Superintendent, per annum 42700,00 2. Cashier, per annum 41800.00 Section 10. Miscellaneous: 1. That the salaries and wages of the officers and employees herein pro- vided for in the preceding sect -.ons, and the lvages of all other employees of the City of Salina, Kansas, shall be paid semi-mont:^ly. Section 12. The City ivAnai;er is hereby authorized to employ such additional employees for the various departments of the City of Salina, Kansas, as now exist, or are hereinafter created, as may be necessary for the efficient operation of such departments, and whenever it is necessary to employ any person in any department whose wages are not specifically fixed by this ordinance, including all common labor, the wages of z.ny such e.::ployees shall be such as may be fixed by the City Btanaeer and as may be alloyed and paid from tune to time by the Board of Commissioners. Section 13. That ordinances numberes 5032, 4985, 5029, 5007, 5009, 5012, 5028, Section 3 of Ordinance No. 4012 (Section 6-105 Revised Ordinances of 1939), Section 2 of Ordinance No. 3359 (Section 6-206 Revised ordinances of 1939), Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2263 (Section 6-226 Revised Ordinances of 1939), Sections 2 and 3 or Ordinance No. 3110 (Sections 6-228 and 6-229 Revised Ordir_ances of 1939) and each section or parts of ordinances inconsistent or it conflict with the foregoing sections of this ordinance, be and the same are hereby repealed.
