AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes by the
City of Salina, Kansas, for the year 1944.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Sabina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 14.3761 mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby
levied on all real, -personal and :nixed property of whatsoever kind or nature (except
intangible property otherwise taxed or assessed according to law) in the City of Salina,
j which is a City of the first class having a population less than 50,000, for the year

1943, for the purposes hereinafter set forth, and apportioned and divided as follows:

of this ordinance, and on or before the 25th day of August 1943 to transmit
a duly certified copy of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County,
Kansas, so that the levy of taxes herein provided for may be placed upon the
tax rolls and the taxes collected according to iaw.
