That that portion of a certain north and south alley lying between Santa Fe Avenue and Fifth Street and north of the south lines, extended, of Lots 12 and 35, Block 10, in Calkins Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas and south of the southerly line of the right-of-way of the Union Pacific Railroad Company in said city, be and the same is hereby vacated as and for a public alley and that said alley shall revert to and become parts of the lots adjacent thereto in eq -al portions, as provided by law; Provided, however, that the City of Salina hereby reserves a right-of-way and easements in portions of said alley for the purpose of laying, constructing, repair- in- and maintaining sewers and vster lines. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its publication once in the official city paper and upon being recorded in the office of Register of Deeds of Saline County, Kansas.
