5300 Vacate Fourth Street & Alleys11 n 1 A14 ORDNANCE providing for the vacation of .portions of certain streets and alleys in t -,-ie City of Salina, Tali ye County, Kansas. 1 Z�REAS, a petition was duly filed praying for the vacation of portions of certain streets and alleys in the City of Selina, as hereinafter described; and V1,iEREAS, said petition was duly and regularly referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Salina and said conuaission r6commended that said portions of said streets and alleys be vacated; and 'WHEREAS, the governing body of said city deems it to be in the public interest for said portions of said streets and alleys to be V�Lcated; Ali D, 30 N01' , RErO tE, BE IT ORDAIFED by the Hoard of Commissioners of the City of Sal-_na, Kansas. Section 1. That the east ten (10) feet of Fourth Street in said city, lying south of the south line of Crawford Avenue and north of the north line of Bond Street be and it is hereby vacated. Section 2. That that portion of Fourth Street in said city, lying south of the south line of Crawford Avenue and north of the north line of Bond Street be and it is hereby vacated. Section 3. That teat portion of a north and south public alley in said city, lying between Fourth Street and Third Street and connecting Crawford Avenue and Bond Street be and it is hereby vacated. Section 4. That that portion of a north and south public alley, lying between Tiird Street and Second Street and connecting Crawford Avenue and Bond Street be and it is hereby vacated. Section 5. That the various portions of streets and alleys vacated., aforesaid, shall revert to the land thereto adjoining, on the side or sides thereof as applicable, in the proportion to the fnnutage of such land, in the manner provided by law. Section 6. That this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
