AN ORDIvANCE levying special assessment against certain property to

the property hereinafter described and have notified the o ting

inafter described to cause their respective portion of said side alkhto beproperty reconstructed
at their own expense and have fulfilled all conditions precedent to the construction of
said sidewalk.

publicatio45 7S n of said notice cause said sidewalk to be reconstructed, and thorn
City caused said sidewalk to be reconstructed pursuant to sections 12-1804 and 12-1805
of the 1947 supplement to the General Statutes of Kansas and the cost thereof has been
ascertained, NUV TIEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and there is hereby levied and assessed agiinst the lot
hereinafter described an assessment for the purpose of paying the cost of reconstructing
said sidewalk taxable against the following described lot in the amount set opposite

Section 2. That the owner or owners of the property above described shall have
thirty (30) days after the publication
- of this ordinance within which to make full

payment.
Section 3. That the city clerk is directed to mail a notice not less than fifteen
I (15) days prior to the end of the thirty (30) days to the ovmer of the property as
shown on the records of the office of the regi seer of deeds.
Section 4. That if full payment of the assessment made in Section 1 of this ordinance
is not
made within thirty (30) days after ttie publication of this ordinance, the City
Clerk is herebydirected ected and authorized to certify said assessment to the County Clerk
of Saline County, Kansas to be placed on the tax roll for collection, subject to the
same penalties and collected in like manner asother taxes.
Section�_ 5. This ordinance shall take affect and be in full force from and after
