structing lateral sanitary severs in Lateral Sanitazy Sewer Districts numbered 224,
225, 226, 227, 228, 2290 230, 231 232 233 234 and 235, as authorized by the provis-
ions of Ordinances Number 5297, 5307, 5310, 5315, 5315, 5315, 5320, 5322, 53280 5347,
5358 and 5358, the Bost of which has been duly ascertvuiLred as shorn by the City
Engineer's Final Esti:-.ate of Cost, which has been duly approved by the Board of
Commissioners, there are hereby 'Levied and assessed on the property liable therefor,
being all of the lets &"d pieces of grQu d lying in the sewer ,istricts mentioned
above as created by Ordinances Number 5297, 5307, 5310, 5315, 5315, 5315, 5320, 5322,
5323, 5347, 5358 and 5358, according to the appraised value of such lots and pieces
of ground without regard to the buildings or improvements thereon_, specis.l assessments
covering the cost of such improvements constructed in said sewer districts, said
special assessment being based on the special valuation and appraisement made by three
disinterested appraisers appointed by the Board of Corrzrissioners of the City of
Salina,.Kansas, which said appraisemen_t is hereby referred to and mad.e a part of this
ordinance, and the several amounts levied and apportioned against the lots and pieces
of ground in said sewer districts for the purpose of paying the cost of the improve-
rontc constructed in such district being hereby found and determined to be as set
forth in the folloiaing sections of this ordinance.
Section 2. That for the payment of the cost of construction of Lateral Sanitary
Sewer Number 224, beginning at a manhole in Quincy Street on the center line of an
east and west public alley, extended east, lying next north. of M nneapolis Avenue
thence west in the center of said alley 505 feet, more or less, to a manhole to be
constructed in said alley, being the terminus, the amount levied, apportioned and
