AN ORDINANCE regulating vehicular and pedestrian traffic on certain streets in the
City of Salina, providing for the amendment of Section 29-148B, Revised Ordinances
of the City of Salina, 1939, and repealing said original section, being Section
48B of Ordinance Number 4953.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 29-148B, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina,
1939, being Section 48B of Ordinance Number 4953, be and the same is hereby amend-
ed to read as follows:
"29-148B. Section 48B. Through Streets. Those streets and parts of
Streets described as follows: Santa Fe Avenue from the south line of
Otis Street to the north line of Claflin Avenue, except at Pacific
Avenue.
Iron Avenue from the west line of College Avenue to the east line of
Marymount Road, except at the entrance to Iron Avenue from the north
on College Avenue.
Ninth Street from the north city limits to the south line of Cloud
Street, except at its intersection with Pacific Avenue and Br-oadway
Boulevard ar:d with Iron Avenue.

Ash Street from the east line of Seventh Street to the west line of
P -Phillips Street, except at its intersection with Ninth Street.
College Avenue from the north line of Elm Street to the south line
of Walnut Street except at Iron Avenue, and except at the entrance
to College Avenue from the west on State Street.
State Street from the east line of Broadway Boulevard to the east
line of College Avenue, except at the entrance to State Street from
the south on College Ayenue.
Pacific Avenue from the east city limits to the west line of Ninth
Street, and Broadway Boulevard, from the west line of Ninth Street
to the south city limits.
Walnut Street from the west line of Ninth Street to the east line
of Broadway Boulevard.
Mulberry from the east line of Second Street to the east line of
Ninth Street, excepting at its _Lntersection with Santa Fe Avenue,

Walnut Street from its intersection with the center line of the
channel of the Smoky Hill River to the east line of Santa Fe Avenue.
Crawford Street from the west line of the city limits to the
east line of the city limits, excepting at its intersection with
Ninth Street and Santa Fe Avenue,
excepting where intersections are controlled by traffic signal
lights, are herehy declared to be through highways for the purpose
of this ordinance.
Section 2. That the original Section 29-148B, being Section 48B of Ordinance
Nu7#ber 4953 be and the same is hereby repealed.
iSection 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
