AN ORDINANCE making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes by the
City of Salina, Kansas, for the year 1951.
BE IT ORDAI11ZD BY THE BOARD OF CONMISSI,JNF ,S of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That the sum of 13.5000 mills on the dollar be and the same is

hereby levied on real, personal and mixed property of whatsoever kind and nature

(except intangible property otherwise taxel or assessed according to law) in the

City of Salina, which is a City of the first class having a population of less
than 50,000, for the year 1950, for the purposes hereinafter set fogrth, and apport-
ioned and divided as follows:

Section 2. That the valuation of the property upon which the foregoing taxes
are levied and assessed be in all cases taken from the assessment rolls for the
present year in the City office of the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, and
it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of Salina, Kansas, immediately on and after
theP assage and taking effect of this ordinance, and on or before the 25th day of
August, 1950 to transmit a duly certified copy of this ordinance to the County
Clerk of Saline County, Kansas so that the levy of taxes herein provided for may be
placed upon the tax rolls
and the taxes collected according to law.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its
publication once in the official city paper.
