AN0R.DDINl ndE regulating parking on a part of a certain street in the City of
providing a penalty for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAITED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas;
Section 1. 24-1411A. ANGLE PARKING. On the follo'Aing named street,
moo- vehicles shall be parked itith the right side of any such vehicle toward
and at an angle of 45 degrees with the right hand curb line of such street,
and with the right front whe U of such vehicle against the curb or on the curb
line of such street, and it shall be the duty of the City Manager and the Street
Department to cause to be plainly marked upon the curb or along the curb line,
by means of painted lines set at an angle of 45 degrees frith the curb line,
and (10) ten feet (6) six inches distant from center to center of such lines
at the curb line, indicating the splices within i:hich and the angle at i-,hich all
vehicles shall be parked on such portions of such street, and it shall be unlaw—
ful for any driver or owner of any vehicle to park or permit the same to be
parked on any portion of any such street except within the space so indicated,
and at the angle so indicated, the street upon which such angle parking is to be
required being as follows:
On west side of Santa Fe Avenue from South Street
to Prescott Avenue.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be deemed to supplement the provisions
of Section 24-11.11, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina 1
948.
Section 3. PENALTY. A person convicted of a violation of this ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall for conviction be punished
by a fine of not more than X100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten days.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
