AN ORDINANCE regulating parking on a part of a certain street in the City of Salina,
and providing a penalty for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina:
Section 1. 24-141LA. PARl,ING TDEi UNITED IN DESIGNATED PLACE; ADDITIONAL ONE
HOUR ZO . No person shall park or leave or cause or permit to be parked or left,
any vehicle for more than one hour at any one time, and in any one place, between the
hours of 7 o'clock A. Irl. and 7 o'clock P. M. on any day of the week except Sunday on
the following portion of a street in the City of Salina, which is hereby designated a
one hour zone:
On Fourth Street from Iron Avenue to Walnut Street,
Provided that the parkin- limit herein provided for shall not apply where other limits
within the zone, aforesaid, are otherwise specifically provided for by ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be deemed to supplement the provisions of Section
24-1.14, Revised Ordinances of the City of Salina, 1948.
Section 3. PENALTY. A person convicted of a violation of this ordinance shall
be deemed guilty of a middemeanor and shall for conviction be punished by a fine of
not more than $100.00 or by imprisonment of not more than ten days.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption and uublication once in the official city paper.
