AN ORDIUNCE providing for and authorizing the issuance of Improvement Bonds of the
City of Salina, Kansas, in the sum of $81,171.32, to
pay the cost of construct-
ing main sanitary sewers and certain lateral sanitary sewers and pumping stations
in the
City of Salina, Kansas, which bonds shall be designated as Series S-147.
1,01EREAS, pursuant to proceedings duly had according to law, certain main and certain
lateral sanitary
sewers and pumping stations have been constructed in the City of
Salina, Kansas, in main sewer districts and certain lateral
as follows: sanitary sewer districts,

Section 2. Said bonds shall be signed by the Ya,,; -,-or and shall be attested by the
signature of the City Clerk and the corporate seal of the City shrill be affixed thereto,
and shall have attached thereto interest cots -pons representing the interest thereon,
which coupons shall be in the form provided by law, and shall bear the printed or
lithographed facsimile signatures of the llayor and Cit Clerk of
City said city and said
bonds and interest coupons shall be registered in the offices of the City Clerk and
the State Auditor as required b�, law.
Section 3. Said bonds shall be designated as Series S-147 and shall be in the

BE IT ORDAIITED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the foregoing preambles are hereby adopted and made a _part of
this ordinance and that for the purpose of providing funds to pay the cost the
of im-
provements hereinbefore described, there shall be issued and t::ere hereby are issued
Internal Improvement Bonds of the City of Salina, Kensass, in the total principal p p um
of $81,174.32, Wnich issue shall consist of 81 bonds numbered from 1 to 81, inclusive,
all dated December 1, 1949, which shall bear interest at the rate of
Per cent per annum from and after said date until the respective maturities of said
bonds, parable August 1, 1950, and thereafter semi-annually on February 1st and August
lst of each year to be evidenced by interest coupons as herein provided for and said
bonds shall become due serially in denominations as follows:
Bonds numbered 1 to 21 for $1000.00 each except Number 1 is
for $117..32, due February 1, 1951.
Bonds numbered 22 to 41 for $1000.00 each, due February 1, 1952.
Bonds numbered 42 to 61 for $$1000.00 each, due February 1, 1953.

This bond is one of a series of 81 bonds of like date and tenor, excepting
denomination and maturity, a gregating the principal sum of ;81,174.32, issued by
the City of Salina, Kansas, for the purpose of haying the cos -1; of constructing v.
rain sanitary sewers and certain lateral sanitary sewers and pLunping stations in
said city by the authority of and in full compliance -with the provisions, restrict-
ions and limitations of the constitution and laws of the State; of Kansas, includ-
in- Sections 10-101 to 10-126, Sections 12-617 to 12-W, Sections 12-626 to
12-629, and Sections 13-1013 to 13-1018 all in the G$n.eral Statutes of � nsas 3

and amendments thereto, and all other J)rovisions of the laws of said state
apnlicable thereto, and this bond and all other bonds of this series, and all interest
thereon are to be paid by the City of Salina, Kansas.
And it is hereby dechred and certified that all acts, conditions and things

ired to be done and to exist precedent to and in the ssuance of this bond
have been pro,erly done and preformed and do exist in due and reprular form and manner
as required by the constitution and laws of the State of "ansas, and that the
total indebtedness of said city, including this series of bonds, does not exceed
any constitutional or statutory limitations.
