sub-itted to the F3os.rd of Cor.ission rs ort September 26, 1949, Y,hich is hereby found
to be the lowBst and best bid for such work, nd the contr-act awarded by th : Board
o f Commissioners of said city* to said contractor and sir -nod on behalf of the City
of Salina by the 11ayor on October 3, 1949 for the construction of certain public
inprovenents in the City of Salina, Kansas, to -brit:
Curbing, ^uttering and grading Front Street from the north line
of Republic :revenue to `ho center line of Cranford Avenue, as provided
by Ordinance Iiumber 5416.
Curbing, Guttering and a;rading lest sid e of T?oa.ch Street fron
the north line of Claflin Avenue t o the south line of Iii_�urin

Section 2. Said imtnrovements shall be built and constructed in accordance
Trith the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the Cit-.- Enr;ir_eer on file int he
office of the City Clerk and in accordance Zvrith the proposal of said contractor and under
the terms of the said contract, all of which are hereby referred to and rnde parts of
this ordinance.
Section 3. That terporary notes s i_rned bT the I.Iayor and attested by ', he
City Clerk be iwaued from timeto time as the work progressed in the manner and fiorm
as required by lave, the total amount the eof not to exceed the contract price for such
