AN ORDINANCE vacating a certain portion of Russell Avenue in the City of Salina..

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Russell Avenue in the City of Salina from
the West line of Highland Avenue thence West to the East line of Ninth Street
in the City of Salina, Kansas, be and the same is hereby vacated and that portion
of said street so vacatdd shall revert to and become a part of the property
lying on each side of said street in the manner provided by law.
SECTION Z. This ordinance shall take effect upon its publication in the
official city paper and upon the recording of a certified copy of this ordinance
and the proof of the publication thereof in the office of the Register of Deeds
of Saline County, Kansas, and provided that the owners of the adjacent property
shall pay the expense of such publication and recording.
