ORDINANCE NO. 5600

AN ORDINANCE providing for the amendment of Zoning Ordinance No. 5549 and the Zoning
District Map therein and thereby adopted and providing for the rezoning of certain
property within the city and prescribing the proper uses thereof.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map and the
rezoning of certain lands hereinafter described has been timely complied with; and SO
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina:
Section 1. AMENDMENT, DISTRICT B, SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT. That the zoning
District Map of the City of Salina, heretofore duly adopted and published as a part of
Ordinance No. 5549, be and it is hereby amended so that Lot 17 on Beloit Avenue in the
Addition to the Grounds of Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, Kansas, shall become
a part of District B, Second Dwelling House District. That the use of said described
property shall be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made
and provided in said Ordinance No. 5549 with reference to the Second Dwelling House
District, as aforesaid.
Section 2. AMENDMENT. That Item 21 Section 23 of Ordinance No. 5549 which reads
as follows, to -wit: U2. To hear and decide special exceptions to the terms of this
ordinance upon which such Board is required to pass under this ordinance, ft be and the
same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and publication once in the official city paper.
